Power

I believe there's a power deep inside each and everyone of our souls. This power is good but not everyone uses it for good. This power is what makes us human and different from any other species. This power is emotion. Emotion is so powerful that people like myself harm ourselves because we prefer physical pain over emotional pain. 

So many times people use emotions to get what they want or to make other's do what they want. Some people say that emotion is what makes us weak and for a time I believed that, but now I  know that it's not emotions that make us weak but emotions that make us strong. 

They are the inner voices tearing us between the wrongs and the rights. We become strong the minute we choose not to slit our wrist. Or the moment we choose not to give in to anger. I have faced problems like this. 

I used to hate who I am. The weight of my body, my hair, and even my face. But I understand that this is the way God made me, and I have the power to make myself different from anyone else even if I already am. 

I want you to take this challenge with me. If you have trouble accepting the way that you are, what ever the reason may be. I want you to go into the bathroom or where ever you can find a mirror and stand in front of it. I want you to stare at yourself for longer than five minutes. 

I want you to look at all your flaws. I did, and honestly it made me love myself. You have the power to accept yourself but only if you allow it. The power is already there, but can only be set free by YOU. You are the key.

EVERYONE ON THIS PLANET IS BEAUTIFUL. YOU WERE BORN IN BEAUTY. DON'T EVER BELIEVE SOMEONE WHO SAYS "Your ugly." OR "Your a Fatty." SO MANY TIMES WE LET OURSELVES BE RULED BY THE POWERS OF OTHER'S WHO ARE HATEFUL AND MEAN BUT NOW IT'S TIME FOR YOU TO GRAB A STRONG HOLD OF YOUR POWER AND HELP YOURSELF BECOME WHO YOU WERE MEANT TO BE. 

STRONG, POWERFUL, GOOD, LOVING, CARING, AND BEAUTIFUL. INSIDE AND OUT.
